The Role of NGOs and Trade Unions in Combating Discrimination
The vital role non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and trade unions play in combating discrimination cannot be overestimated. They are active in all spheres of life within and outside the workplace – and at all levels: European Union, national, regional and local level. The difficult times of economic crisis have shown us that their activities in favour of greater equality are more important than ever.
